While playing around with Google today, I found a wierd bug. Let me reproduce it here. While searching for createlf on Google, it said it has about 20,400 results for createlf. When moving from 1st to 2nd page, next is clicked and URL is changed to give value of 11 to argument start. URL looks like this: "http://www.google.co.in/search?q=createlf&hl=en&start=11&sa=N". So, give value 991 instead of 11 to start. Result would be what you get by clicking here. (Also given in screenshot below). First thing to be noticed is the fact that Google does not give more than 1000 results for any query. Secondly, of course is the icon below where "o" seems to have wierdly moved and this of course is a bug!!! ![]()
But in the end, its not a big deal anyways. Whats the big deal is that while on front page Google shows "Results 1 - 10 of about 20,300 for createlf. (0.06 seconds)" but can serve only about 900 results for our site. Now is it a sham that really matters? Because from the front page, it really gives the impression that Google will serve up 20K results for createlf.
