People seem to say that the computer makes them become more obese or as some people want to call it fat. This is not true on so many levels although since you are usually not doing any body movement or muscle activity.
- When at the computer don’t stare at the screen for more than 15 min straight, be sure to every once and a while to look away at something else or someone so it can take the stain off your eyes. Remember it can cause wrinkles on your eyes if you stare to much at the screen. I find that everyone now and then looking at my hands on the keyboard to make sure they are placed correctly helps with my eyes 2, as well as how good typer I am.
- I know sitting in a chair is comfortable but there are these BIG rubber balls you can buy at exercise stores and I'm sure your local gym has some that you can ask where they got it or if you can have or buy one from them. They are simply exercise balls. their about the level of your chair from the ground and you may think it’s easy sitting on them but try balancing on it for 4 hours straight on the computer. As you can notice it becomes very hard after about the first hour. It makes sure that your legs are working and it also exercises your brain to make sure that you keep balanced.
- Another way, is if you know of that can of soda next to your computer on your desk, or maybe its a bag of chips. It just depends on the person. Be sure to set up a table or stool or something about 10 or 20 feet away from your computer to put them on, that way when you want a chip or something to drink. You have to get up and physically walk to get it. And remember it takes, walking the length of 1 football field to get off the calories and fat of only one M and M’s.
- If your a computer nerd then you especially understand how slow some large files are to download, and they if you mess something up or you have a sibling, parent, or child in the house and they mess it up. Then you have to start all over and download the file(s) again. Well what I personally like to do,(sugestive) is play some music and get up and dance by your self. Even if other people are watching. Who really cares. I mean maybe they just might join in. Plus if you are into it enough you might go on YouTube or another video site and look up how to dance with the song. It’s always good to learn something new and active. (personal favorite)
And that’s pretty much all i could think of for exercising and staying fit while at the computer. If you have any more comments or ideas feel free to leave a comment below. Enjoy :)
