After checking out the opening event for the Amazon Kindle Fire back on Wednesday, and even with the possibility that a better Kindle Fire is mere months away, I reached a conclusion that struck even me. I think the Kindle Fire is every inch a match for the iPad 2. Even the iPad 3, really. In fact, I’ve got the idea that a lot of people who already own iPads wouldn’t be remiss in picking up a Kindle Fire alongside it, which is interestingly enough the same conclusion our own Chris Smith reached when he did a full comparison article between the two. And as should not surprise, I have reasons…a whole list of them, in fact. And thus, I present for you (as is generally the case on Fridays), the Top Seven Reasons The Amazon Kindle Fire is every inch a match for the iPad Line.
